Non-Residential Deep Rest Retreat – August 14-18, 2025 – Harberton, Devon, UK

Join Jaya Ashmore for a 5-day non-residential deep rest retreat from August 14-18, 2025
in Harberton, Devon, UK. Immerse yourself in silence and aliveness in an atmosphere of
welcome. This retreat is open to everyone, regardless of previous meditation experience.

What is Deep Rest Meditation?

Deep Rest retreats encourage a revolutionary way of experiencing power:
not as tension,
contraction, and force, but ease and flow. By literally resting, we learn the art of relaxing
and allowing energy to come through as inspiration, release of unnecessary burdens, and a
tender power that is inseparable from wise care for the wellbeing of the whole. We’ll
explore how space and kindness can arise naturally through movement and stillness,
gentleness and firmness, silence and dialog. The retreat is appropriate for people at all
experience levels.

Teachings and the Retreat:

Jaya offers embodied, finely-tuned meditation instructions to help connect directly with
aliveness beyond ideas. The retreat schedule, silence, supportive atmosphere, and
instructions help provide a foundation from which each person can jump into their own
rhythm and connect with a quality of living that makes a difference in inner and outer life.
